Note family
Gourmand notes
Gourmand notes are the dessert counter: vanilla, tonka bean, chocolate, coffee, burnt sugar. They read warm, sweet, and comforting, and they project: people notice.
What they layer with
Gourmands are strong cores for cold weather and nights out. Fresh citrus or aromatic boosters keep them from getting heavy; woods give them structure; a little musk rounds the sugar off.
What to be careful with
Two gourmands over one skin point is candy overload. Sweet on sweet flattens a stack and, on warm days, turns cloying within an hour.
