How Spray Stacker works
Spray Stacker helps fragrance enthusiasts get more out of the bottles they already own, through fragrance information, layering recommendations, and community participation.
01
Build your collection
Create a digital shelf of the fragrances you own, organized the way you think about them, and open a profile for any bottle.
02
Explore fragrance notes
Review available top, heart, and base notes, fragrance families, and scent characteristics. Our catalog incorporates information from manufacturers and other fragrance references. Some fragrances have incomplete or conflicting published information, which we work to identify and improve.
03
Discover layering possibilities
Our compatibility system evaluates available scent-profile information to suggest fragrances that may complement one another. Scores are algorithm-generated estimates, not laboratory measurements or proof that a combination has been physically tested.
04
Create your own stacks
Experiment with different fragrances, application orders, and spray ratios. Save the combinations you enjoy and revisit them later.
05
Join the community
Share discoveries, discuss combinations, and explore stacks created by other enthusiasts. Community experiences reflect individual opinions and may differ from algorithm-generated recommendations.
What a stack score means
A stack score is a 0 to 100 estimate of how well a set of fragrances is likely to read together, based on the notes and accords recorded in our catalog. It is the same calculation the builder shows you, so the number you see on a card is the number you will see when you open the stack.
- High scores mean the profiles share structure and fill each other's gaps. They are a starting point for experimentation, not a verdict.
- Low scores mean the profiles overlap or clash in ways worth knowing before you spray. Some people love a clashing stack; the score simply tells you it is one.
- Missing notes lower confidence. When a bottle's pyramid is incomplete, the estimate is made on what is recorded, and we would rather tell you that than inflate the number.
What we do not claim
- We do not claim layering reliably increases longevity, projection, or performance. Effects vary by formulation, skin, climate, and application.
- We do not claim a score has been verified by testing on skin.
- We do not label algorithm-generated examples as member activity.
- We do not publish invented reviews, credentials, awards, or endorsements.
